I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience providing therapy to couples and those needing assistance in navigating the challenges of life and help with healing from trauma — past and present, low self-esteem, explosive anger, depression, anxiety, and parenting. My passion is helping couples learn to reconnect through better communication and increase the level of intimacy and trust within the relationship.

I received my Master’s Degree from Chicago State University. For 15 years, I worked as a therapist and clinical supervisor. Prior to this, I worked as a social worker for 10 years.  

After a successful career helping both children, adults, and families struggling with the impact of DCFS and individuals living with severe mental illnesses, I am continuing my career as a therapist and provide services to individuals, couples and families in a private practice setting. When working with clients, I utilize Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I’m certified in domestic violence and Nurturing Parenting.

In my spare time, I enjoy pursuing my artist endeavors and reading.
